A Young Boy’s Journey

There was an interesting story told in the Journal of Pediatric, Maternal, and Family Health about a 3-year-oldwho had pervasive developmental disorder. His parents noticed that something was not right when he was 15-months-old. He began showings signs of apraxia (a disorder of the nervous system) and speech delay. His parents decided to seek out the care of an upper cervical chiropractor for their child. The article goes on to detail these visits. After 5 months of care, the child began to show significant lifestyle changes and improvement in the quality of his life was seen. These findings were confirmed by his parents, his teacher, his healthcare provider, and his upper cervical chiropractor.

In this case, all of his problems were linked to a misalignment in his neck that was corrected through upper cervical chiropractic care. His parents did not simply accept his diagnosis and try to live with it; they  pursued further treatment options. Because of their determination, he was able to overcome his suffering.

Upper cervical chiropractors are trained to find specific misalignments, even in small children, and work towards correcting these by a series of gentle, effective adjustments. There is no popping or twisting of the spine. Patients are barely aware of the procedure. Why not look into this type of care today?
