Introduction
During his college years, Dr. Chung developed a deep interest in the holistic perspective of healthcare. It was during this time that his fascination with holistic approach to health and wellness led him to explore chiropractic profession. The concept of spinal alignment as a significant factor in overall health sparked his curiosity, given the complex nature of the human body.
Upon his graduation from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2000, Dr. Chung quickly established a thriving private practice by 2002. However, he faced persistent challenges in maintaining spinal corrections for his patients. This led him to a profound realization about the critical role of the upper cervical spine in overall health and the nervous system. In pursuit of deeper knowledge, Dr. Chung joined with the renowned NUCCA chiropractor, Dr. Marshall Dickholtz, Sr. in 2003.
During his 13+ years associateship with Dr. Dickholtz, Sr., Dr. Chung treated thousands of patients and participated the publication of a groundbreaking hypertension study by Dr. Dickholtz, Sr. with the University of Chicago. Dr. Chung was acknowledged for his expertise and performance during the trial of this landmark study published in Journal of Human Hypertension of Nature. Furthermore, Dr. Chung taught NUCCA classes at Palmer College of Chiropractic for years during this time.
In 2016, Dr. Chung was inspired by the legacy of his mentor to open his private office, NUCCA Wellness Clinic of Chicago. With two locations, the clinic upholds the highest standards of NUCCA practice. Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Chung's commitment to advancing the understanding and application of NUCCA is unwavering. Between 2014 and 2018, he organized private NUCCA workshops for both students and fellow practitioners, demonstrating his role in mentoring the next generation of NUCCA chiropractors.
Furthermore, Dr. Chung has built strong professional relationships with medical professionals from various disciplines—including primary care physicians, ENT specialists, neurologists, optometrists, chiropractors, and physical therapists—who trust him to provide further neck evaluations for their referred patients.
